General information on data processing

We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. Personal data will only be processed to the extent necessary to ensure the provision of our content and services.

1. Data collection and processing in the context of our online shop

When you use our online shop, we collect the data required to process your order. This includes:

  • Name, address, e-mail address and telephone number
  • Payment information (e.g. credit card or bank details)
  • Order details (products, quantities, delivery address)

Purpose and legal basis:

Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Your data will only be passed on to payment service providers (e.g. PayPal, Stripe) or shipping companies (e.g. DHL) if this is necessary for the processing of your order.

Storage period:

The data will be stored for the duration of the statutory retention periods (e.g. tax and commercial law requirements).

2. Contact form

You can contact us directly via our contact form. The following data is collected:

  • Name and e-mail address (mandatory fields)
  • Further voluntary information (e.g. telephone number, message text)

The data entered is transferred to our customer relationship management system (CRM) HubSpot and stored there. The provider is HubSpot, Inc, 25 First Street, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA. HubSpot is a tool for managing customer relationships and communication.

Purpose and legal basis

The data is processed:

  • On the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, if the request is related to a contract or pre-contractual measures.
  • On the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, if it is in our legitimate interest to process your request efficiently.

Data transmission and storage

The data is stored in our HubSpot system for as long as it is necessary to process your request or as long as we are obliged to do so by statutory retention periods.

Revocation and deletion

If you would like your data to be deleted from our HubSpot system, you can contact us at any time using the contact details provided in the “Controller” section (see above).

3. Applications via the career site (Workwise)

For applications, we use the Workwise platform, which acts as a processor for us. The following data is processed when an application is submitted via Workwise

  • Personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail, telephone number)
  • Application documents (e.g. CV, cover letter, references)

Purpose and legal basis:

The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR to carry out the application process and, if necessary, to initiate an employment relationship in accordance with § 26 BDSG.

Disclosure to third parties:

As a service provider, Workwise is bound to comply with the GDPR and processes the data exclusively on our behalf.

Storage period:

Applicant data will be deleted six months after completion of the application process, unless consent has been given for longer storage.

4. Cookies and analysis tools

Our website only uses essential cookies that are required for technical functionality (e.g. shopping cart). No cookies are used for marketing or tracking purposes.

Session cookies:

These temporary cookies are only stored for the duration of your visit and are then automatically deleted.

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the data you provide (e.g. e-mail address) as well as technical information such as the IP address and the date of registration. We use this data exclusively for sending the newsletter (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.

You have the right to demand:

7. Use of Google Analytics without cookies

We use Google Analytics on our website, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. With the help of Google Analytics, we analyze how visitors use our website in order to constantly improve it and optimally align it with user needs.

Special implementation without cookies

For the use of Google Analytics, we use a customized configuration provided by analytics-ohne-einwilligung.de. This means that no cookies are stored, and all data is collected completely anonymously. The IP address of the website visitor is anonymized before it is stored, so that no conclusions can be drawn about individual persons. Profiling over several visits does not take place.

Only technical information is stored, such as

  • The page accessed, and the time spent on it
  • The browser and operating system used
  • Anonymized IP address

Purpose and legal basis

The anonymous data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in improving our website and ensuring its operation. Since no personal data is processed, the obligation to obtain consent in accordance with Art. 7 GDPR does not apply.

Data transmission

The anonymized data may be stored on Google servers in the USA. Google is obliged to maintain an adequate level of data protection in accordance with the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Possibility of objection

As no personal data is processed, an active objection is not required. However, if you do not wish to have anonymous analysis data collected, you can prevent data transmission by making the appropriate settings in your browser.

8. Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy as necessary in order to adapt it to changed legal, technical or business requirements.
